Line Control Whisker Pole Selection Line Control¨ is a proven concept in telescoping whisker pole design. This unique design is fully patent protected and available only on Forespar Whisker Poles. Line Control¨ poles are heavy duty two section aluminum spars which can be extended up to 27' by simply un-cleating the line at the inboard end, extending or retracting the pole to the desired length and re-cleating the line. This adjustment process is quick and easy, even with the largest pole, and is executed with the operator positioned safely at the mast. Line Control¨ Telescoping Whisker Poles are available in five size ranges covering twelve different models offering a variety of end fitting selections. These poles are the ultimate in whisker pole design and will accommodate boats ranging from approximately 22 to 55 feet. |

Note: "Ultra" style end fittings are a new design molded in a brutally strong, corrosion and wear resistant, composite material. They weigh approx. 1/2 that of our standard fittings made of hard anodized aluminum castings. |

Related Hardware- Mast Attachment and Pole Storage Below are two tables, one outlining recommend mast fitting options for each model of whisker pole and another table summarizing storage options. It is strongly suggested that you use the Forespar Mast Fittings, recommended in the first table below, in conjunction with these whisker poles. They have been designed, based on many years of experience, to insure proper fit, maximum reliability and to minimize the possibility of damage to either the pole end fitting or the mast fitting. |

Maintenance: Maintaining your whisker pole is simple. Keep it clean by flushing with fresh water after use and before storing. The
end fittings should not be lubricated with
anything. Lubrication will build up and attract salt
faster than leaving them dry. |
